strangely enough, there are more than a few conservatives who will find a way to blame democrats and the 'liberal media' for the whole thing....much like hastert kept quiet about mark foley, and then blamed democrats for that, too...

I believe every person is responsible for their own acts. If these soldiers did what they are being accused of, they must pay the consequences. It is not the media's fault. Actually, thanks to the media, these terrible doings have come to light. We cannot allow these things to happen. This is a very sad story.

You have a very twisted perspective my friend. First of all the biggest myth is that the media is "liberal" and then to suggest that it's the media's fault for reporting it (as if to say, as long as it was covered up, it was OK???) WHO DID THE CRIME??? HOW CAN IT BE THE MEDIA'S FAULT? IT'S THE SOLDIERS WHO DID IT AND THEY SHOULD BE PUNISHED.

this is a shame that the americans did something like this and you can not blame this on anything. there is no excuse for this and i think they should be hung for what they did. i don't especially like arabs or muslums but this is going way too far. i have seen our military do things that was disgusting but this is the worst i have seen.
