Both my Mom and I use a brand called Spanx, and they are amazing! You can buy them at most department stores in the pantyhose section. They are not too cheap, but I have had mine for about 2 years and it has yet to rip. I never go to a dance without it under my dress!

Check out the lingerie dept at the dept store of your choice. They have things called body shapers now. I discovered them when I won an award and had to abandon my jeans and put on a dress to be seen in public.
