Both HISTORY and COOKIES
can be deleted, so that you can not tell where a person has been...
HOWEVER
what is difficult to remove is the information typed into the search bar
either MS, Google, Yahoo, etc.
Go to the tool bar
type in A and click the side arrow
(do NOT press ENTER key or GO button)
A drop down list of all will show
scroll down (see the side scroll bar)
do that for A through Z

Most all internet Search engins have this feature for the "convenience" of users.

If you are a parent, I commend you "checking up" on things.

But remember, when you don't trust someone; there is work to be done in the relationship that will build trust and make expectatons clear.
A talk about these things does good.

If you'll notice, on your toolbar you will see the little house that takes you to your "home" page. Right next to that are two little arrows pointing right. Click on that and then select "history". Another window will open to the left of the page and it will have all the sites you've visited several days back. Or however long you have set your history to remain on the pc.

If you go to "tools" "internet options" you will see the history button below and you can set how many days you want it to remain.

Hope that helps.

Depends on what Operating System the computer is running but looking into your browser's "history" would be the quickest way.
