Give her one more chance, if she does anything like that again then brutally attack her screaming "WHO'S THE MASTER NOW???!!"

Did you help her with her masters because you wanted her to be eternally grateful? I don't think so. You did a good thing. You did a kinder thing when you were concerned about her safety and wanted to know if she got home OK. Who knows why she didn't get back with you? You did as much as anyone could have. Now spend a little time on yourself, you deserve it.

I feel as though you shouldn't jump to conclusions. She could be busy with other things in her daily life. If she doesn't get back to you in a week, realize that although she may not have been as grateful as you expected, at least you were the bigger person that was willing to help someone... because you will be rewarded for your generosity.

That is mean if she is ignoring you, but just wait a couple of days and if she has'nt got in touch to thank you dont bother with her again. She will need you before you need her. Anyway why not do your own masters if you are capable enough to help someone else with theirs, then your more than capable to put your energy into your own. Further your own career before someone who doe'snt appreciate your hard work and help.

rule 1.. don't do anybody any favours, i've helped loads of people in the last 20 years and all i get is misery (e.g lost my house coz i borrowed £25,000 from the bank for my 'godmother', bailifs came to take my stuff away coz my cousin borrowed £3000 from my credit card and then did a runner (and that's just two examples out of thousands!) just coz i liked to help people, almost all of the time, people expect you to drop everything and help them out... well, I DON'T HELP NO MORE!, ungrateful gits!
my life has been given a new lease since i stopped doing people favours. i still get the odd phone call asking me for help and when i say no, they get pissed off!
with so called friends like that, who needs friends...

i have since dumped every freeloader in my life, with the friends i have now, they're true friends...

If she is not grateful to you for your help then let it be. You in your heart know that your intentions were genuine and you will get rewarded in a different way. Things like this happen alot with people not appreciating others for their help but they in turn get there's later. You did a good thing in helping her.

in a way she could be greatful and might show it in a different way, by buying you presents or gifts or otherwise she might have not had any credit to text back so don't get moody because it isn't gonna help

I hate it when people do that. It was kind and considerate of you to check up on her getting home ok. AND rude and inconsiderate to ignore that and not respond. Some people just never learned that kind of social etiquette.....

Text messaging is not always reliable. Make sure she got the text before you get upset.
