being extra sweet instead of just taking out the dam trash (or whatever the thing was)????

Men want to please their wives, but hate doing chores. Tell him the way to a girls heart is to reduce her workload in the home.
If he doesn't get it, then put the trash in a bag and put it on the floor on his side of the bed.

No it's not strange or childish. Men think different then woman.Woman's brains are different too.Woman can think of 5 things at once.Men can only concentrate on one thing really well.So I am assumeing he has alot on his mind and he really forgot the trash.So he loves u so much he is trying to make it up to u by being sweet. Hey I'll take him if u don't want him.Most men would of told u to take it out yourself.If you don't believe me about the brains then u need to look it up. It might help u understand your husband better.Good luck

i gave up on asking my husband to take out the trash. i do it myself now. now that my oldest has turned 9, i may start having him take out the trash for $1.00. My husband is that way. has always been. if i didn't want to do it...i shouldn't have started doing it to begin with.

It's about the power. You have to let him win and then have him want to take out the trash. You need to out smart him.

Men tend to do that so that you can forget about what you were mad about or to stop fussing at them. Believe me. I have the same reaction some times.

YOU HAVE TO PUT YOUR FOOT DOWN IF HE THINKS THAT ALL HE HAS TO DO IS BE REALLY SWEET, HE WILL NEVER TAKE OUT THE TRASH.

sounds familiar! i think it has something to do with men period. why dont you try to tell him in a good way, or when he is not doing anything.maybe you tell him at the wrong time(when he is bussy maybe).try that and if it doesn't work than he is just LAZY.
