Israel is the Ally I would trust the most to be on our side in a crisis. UK is 2nd, after that there is a big gap.

How many times do people need to be told Israel is like a nomad of the old days. They will ally with those who can help them but will not risk their well being for others. The political abilities of Israel are beyond description. The lobbies in Washington that are funded by Israel probably outnumber all others combined. Who can forget how they told us to mind our own business during the time of massive inflation there while they took foreign aid from us. Their arrogance has been somewhat subdued since their poor handling of things during the recent conflict with Hezbollah.

The US and Israel are allied by nothing more than a common enemy. But those on this thread who think that Israel needs us more than we need Israel are not only naive, they are outright wrong. Israel has led the fight against Muslim terrorists for decades, we are just along for the ride.
Just 6 years ago, we condemned them for doing no more than we now do ourselves (with less cause to do it).

Israel is not an Ally but serious Carcinoma to the USA and therefore the reason for the pending fall of the USA within this century!

That is a good question. USA is definally an ally of Israel we defend them at UN and support them in their conflicts. However they either have not had the opportunity or unable to support USA . It may be a case of "With friends like the Israelis, who needs enemies???"
