my friend moved to arizona at the end of the school year. but about a month before, she gave me her rabbit (or asked me) and i took it. the rabbit was really hard to take care of so i asked her if she wanted to take it with her and she said no. so i told her i was going to put in a humiane society (i made sure that it was a good one!) and the she was all bitchy to me... ( can understand cause she missed the rabbit)
but when she left she never said good bye nor call me until two months later. but i mean it was so long ago! then she called my other friend she "liked" and told her i said all these things i didnt say! then she called me a ***** and then she called 2 other of my friends and did the SAME thing. she is trying to turn my awesome friends AGAINST me! i dont want it to make me made cause she is like 1000 miles away! but i lose my friends because of her i dont know what i will do! how can stop the madness!

There are a lot of bad girls that are called friends and they are not. I have the same experience but not with a rabbit of course. What I did was to talk to my friends and made sure they understood my position. I discovered who really loved me and believed me. What I suggest is to talk to your friends explaining your position and the expenses it cost you. It's not normal to move far away and leave a rabbit to somebody else. It's not your responsibility. You did a favor and this is what you get. Try to find out who really loves you and appreciate what you do for the others.

Ask your friends if their friendship with you is so worthless to them that they'll throw it away over a one-sided argument. If they do, then say goodbye. They aren't good friends. They should be seeking out your side of this disagreement.
As for this particular friend, write her a letter. Explain that the way she's treating you is hurting your feelings and that had you been able to take on the Rabbit, you would have but at least you did the best thing for the Bunny.
Good Luck!

This is very symbolic. Rabbits are wild and gentle. Her hare is gone, and she did not say good bye, and you gave her hare away.
Re-gifting a gift-never a good thing! Abandonment is the theme! I would not consider you a good friend! You should have said no I cannot take your hare, but I care! You would not be having these problems if you were honest with yourself and others! Learn to say NO and think before you speak!

Oh she is upset cuz she had to give it up.Maybe she thought she could see it if she visited u.She is just taking it out on u and she should be upset with herself.Sometimes we take it out on the closest around use. She'll get over it.If she doesn't well then don't worry about it.You'll probably never see her again anyway. Your heart was in the right place.Thats all u can do.

tell her how you feel. she's just mad cause she had to move. tell the "friends" the truth. real friendship is a bond that is hard to break.
