Its individual. I've been a nurse for a long time, have a degree in psychology and am currently in a masters counseling program. If you want to help people, all are good choices, but if you have trouble with blood, body fluids, and anything gross ect,... skip nursing. And school counseling is very political...and only directed at children. If thats your intent, then great,.... but if you want to help a wider variety of the population, social work is probably the best choice. Up to you though.

School Counselor, working with so many different sweet kids and making big differences in their life can be a wonderful career. Not only do you make them feel good but yourself!
A nurse would be wonderful! there is a shortage of nurses and ones that care. Some seem careless and unkind about their job.
I do not suggest a social worker but do what you like the best. Maybe you are in the wrong career fields? Do the thing that gives you that little sparkle of joy and inspiration.

why are those your only options? i am studying to be a couples counselor, and i love it. once i get licensed i will help couples work on their marriages and relationships.
my stepdad is a school counselor, and he makes like 55,000ish. not bad, not good. he likes it ok, but there is a lot of random paperwork and administration stuff that school counselors have to do that has nothing to do with counseling or helping the students. sometimes they make the school counselors be hall monitors! sorry, i didnt get a masters degree for that!

Choose the one you really like and go for it. Only when you think it is worth doing then you will feel satisfaction try to focus on yourself and ask "What will I be in the future". Reading itself is also helpful and try to read about those carreers and also if needed try to survey your friends, neighbours, family on what people need and gather up their answers and from there based your profession. In reality there is no bad or good profession just bad people who don't know what they want. try to think about it and only you have the answer to your query.. thats all thank you...

It's not really what other people think you should do.
You have to decide what profession you are naturally drawn to.
Get lots of info on all of these professions and look at them separately (even speak to people already in these jobs, pick their 'brains). Then decide which one you feel drawn to.
Each of these professions have different 'angles' (duties of 'caring') as to how they help people.
Good luck.
