About 20 minutes ago I was walking out of the kitchen and my pinky toes was caught around the counter. It hurts dearly to walk with a sharp pain. I don't think it's broken because all it has is a big bump on it and it's red. I don't know if that's swelling or not.

If it's not broken, how can I ease the pain?

Tomorrow for school, I may have to run my mile. Advice?

Keep in mind, I'm sort of young, younger than High School.

Aaah! pain! I k...now what you mean. Guess what? You won't be running any mile in 6 minutes tomorrow,

Wrap some ice in a tea towel & put it on the toe. Elevate the toe. Take a lie down for an hour or so before walking on it.

Put some ice on it before you go to bed and leave it on all night..or until it melts, and it should take away some of the swelling. The pain won't be gone all the way. That will take a few days to heal on its own. Good luck! : )

find a way to strap it to the toe next to it. prop your foot up higher than the rest of you -- like put your foot up on a pillow when you are in bed or on the couch. let them know you stubbed your toe and it hurts to run. if they don't believe you show them.
