I dont even think of him in that manner. And it scares me to think that he does. I have always thought of him in a family type way.

A little forward on his part, but maybe you should stretch your mind a little and see if your heart follows. You obviously care for him. If he really meant it he'd be willing to wait for an answer.

I would not rule it out if he's a decent man. I assure you that it would be a better marriage than those of most jerks, but I think some real communication would be in order first.

It does seem that he's skipped over a courtship period, and this seems a little odd. As I say, some bonafide discussions are necessary.

Well thats arkward! Just talk him through how your feeling. " Ive known you a long time. Im sorry but I don't love you in that way I only love you as much as a brother and I dont want to marry you. Can we still be friends?" Be honest and if he reacts badly just ditch him you don't need that. Thats weird how he just asked you liek that! Did you kiss him or something?

gosh, well i don't know whether you have feelings for him or whether you have been sexual or anything. I suppose he probably had his eyes for you but he maybe never really had the chance to tell you. And now he has decided enough is enough and is going to ask. I think, if you are interested in him, give him a chance, don't go for the marriage as yet but give it a go if you have feelings. Then you can judge later on to what you wish to do.

Well, simply tell him what you've just said here. I don't think it should weird him out to know what's really in your heart ... or not. Tell him, Thanks but I have to pass on the marriage proposal. I just can't think of you in that way.

don't marry him.

you really need time to get to know him.

and he isn't even your boyfriend.

who asks a question like that when they're someone's friend?

Ask more and more questions, especially since this is so "out of the blue" for you.

Heck, I don't know!

You'd be better off asking a female, but I'd say it's up to you.
