i live in florida and want to open a medical billing company for my husband who is a psychiatrist. I have basic training in medical billing but no formal experience. I will be working from home and at the moment he is my only client. I need some information regarding that.
What is the way to register the company with the state?
Do i need to file as LLC or Sole propertership?
Which medical software is good for beginners? Is medisoft a good option?

The medical billing field is highly saturated so you are going to face stiff competition. You may be able to sign on a small practice or two that want to save money but even those will be hard to get. You also need to have experience in insurance coding, and medical terminology. Figure out how you can add services to that business in order to create a niche. Good luck.
