This absolutely works, no matter how bizarre it may sound to you:
Stretch the blood stain over a bowl
Pour pure hydrogen peroxide over the stain (allowing the peroxide to drop thru, into the bowl beneath)
Now, shake Adolph's Meat Tenderizer (plain style not barbecue) onto the stain
Let sit for 20 minutes
Hand wash with soap and water
That should do it!

I have pretty good success with Shout Action Gel, comes in an orange spray bottle. I saturate both sides of the stain and let it sit all night sometimes. I've even washed in hot water and got all the blood stain out. I don't know if you will have the same success after using Hydrogen Peroxide. I hope you have not dried the article in the dryer yet. That will usually set the stain and make it more difficult for you to get it out. Dog blood seems to be harder to get out then our own for some reason. Good luck.

I know for sure that if you could have gotten to the stain right away and soaked it in cold water (or even just put a damp, cold cloth on the area), that usually helps to get it out. But seeing as how the whole "right away" moment is long gone, the best thing you can do is check out the site below. It has some awesome tips: it even has one about when your pet cuts it's foot!!
Good luck!!

It's worth a try. The trick to getting it out is to do it while it is still damp, so if it was dry the peroxide probably won't help. You could try it again, though. Some of the laundry presoaks work really well.....Try Biz or even Shout or Spray and WAsh

RE:
What is the best way to get blood out of clothes?
My dog cut her foot and on our way to the vet she managed to get bloody pawprints on my jeans & shirt. Thankfully the cut happened outside so there is no blood on my carpet, just my clothes & the towel I put down on the car seat for her. (I'm not really worried about the towel, it was an old...

hydrogen peroxide does work, but it will sometimes bleach. Try washing your clothes on a cold cycle in the washing machine, but pretreat it with shout. Dont dry it in the dryer unless the stain comes out.
