If there is not yet enough evidence then when will there be?

Considering the scientific comunity regularly finds meteorite material from other known bodies in our region (like Mars) it would seem to me that it is highly probable that this idea will move to theory and be proven or partially proven at some time in the future.

Hi. I don't think it is any more than an idea. It may be possible, especially if you consider the viability of spores, but we have not found evidence yet. Maybe Mars may prove or support the idea.
