ok... recently in school my friends and i have been debating on who the best quarterback in the nfl is. It pretty much came down to peyton vs brady. As much of a fan of Tom Brady as I am, I still think Manning is the better quarterback. I understand Brady has the rings and not quite the receivers. However, Manning has MVP's better statistics and a touchdown record. Also I dont believe you can hold it against Manning that he has the receivers he has, and I also think he has made stokely and wayne the receivers they are. Plus I feel that manning works better with what he has...example he has had times including this year even where he has been without a defense and a run game. Brady has always had the defense and the run game. I would like to know your opinoins on who is the better quarterback. Basicly if you were to start a team who would you rather be your quarterback. Please explain why as well

As a pure passer Peyton is better than anyone. Unfortunately his teams were not good enough to win Super Bowls. Tom Brady has and he always seems to come through in the clutch sort of the way Joe Montana and John Elway did during their careers. If you go on statistics alone Dan Marino is the best but Montana won championships so a similar comparison can be made now between Brady and Manning. Manning is a better pure quarterback but Brady has the rings! When Manning wins a few there will be a different overall opinion about it.

I would have to go with Brady. I am a HUGE Colts fan but Brady is better. Statistically, Manning would crush Brady. But Brady's got rings and he's never had a solid number one receiver. Yet he still has won 3 Super Bowls. But untill Manning gets one ring, then he can be called better than Brady. Manning has a better 2 minute offense too. GO COLTS! But if I would start a team i would choose Manning and build the rest of the team around him.

Manning for sure, He can read any defense better than any other quarterback in the NFL. Not saying Brady cant read a defense because Im sure he can but just not as good as Manning and if he couldnt then he shouldnt be an NFL quarterback.
Simple as that Manning is better than Brady

I have to go with Peyton, I mean he's done almost everything. No one's perfect, but still I'd rather have Manning on my team rather than Brady. Peyton works very hard too, maybe more than any other QB. My favorite QB is Mike Vick though

me too i root for patriots and Brady. but also i like the colts peyton manning. i would go with expierence. Manning
