She moved there with her boyfriend not that long ago.
She says strange things happen sometimes.
They were sleeping one night and the tv turned on by itself.
As they started discussing what just happened it turned back off.
She finds doors closed or opened that she never touched.

Any building can end up haunted.
No one needs to have died there or anything like that.
Spirits wander, and often they decide to take up abode
(either temporary or permanent) in people's homes.
Most often, they stick to family or friends, but it is fairly
common too that they'll wander until they find someone
they like, and/or someone they feel they can communicate
with ~ someone with some Psychic Giftedness.
By the sounds of things it's a fairly new spirit
(knows how to work a TV), and probably harmless.
If it can turn things on and off and open/close doors
it would technically be a poltergheist.
Some poltergheists are friendly and even helpful,
I recommend your aunt try to befriend it.
Try buying a Witch Board (aka Spirit Board) or some
other divinatory/communication tool and talking with it.

Yes, Your aunt home maybe well be haunted. But I can assure you that the cross will not save you, as for salt it only works with a certain kind of spirits. Now using God's or Jesus name will help but only if you truly believe. So The first thing that should be done is to find out what type of spirit you have haunting your aunts place. So you will have to do some research on the different types of spirits there are. And then test the spirits that are in your aunts home. Also many people don't know this but there could be several different types of spirits haunting a place and what effect one type may never effect the others....... If I thought my house was haunted, I would sprinkle salt around the exterior. Make cross marks (hand motions) in each room, repeating , "In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit,leave this house". Then, tell the spirits that they are dead and need to go to the light where their loved ones await them. I watch Montel and world reknown psychic Sylvia Browne on Wednesday mornings. This is always what she advises people. She also advises against Ouija Boards as they open the door to the spirit world. Who knows what you could get?

Possibly, my granny died and my mother in law bought her tv and it turns on by itself scared the crap outta me

my twnhaus is carrying the spirits of the past...some good and some bad...ostara is in need of not jumping to things he/she dont understand...all bldngs have entities...if you acknowledge always do so with respect...

yes your aunts house is haunted.there arer evil spiirits there.it is badly haunted.she better get out of there.
