As the old saying goes: 'If your looking for it, you'll never find it'. How true do you think it is?

I think that sometimes when we search for something hard enough, we lose focus and start becoming someone we are not to get what we desire. If you just be yourself and let love find you, you will have a better experience and much happier in my opinion.

I've never heard that saying before.

I think it could be true, if a person was looking too hard, and throwing out all their possibilities as "not good enough" or "not what I'm looking for."

On the other hand, if a person treats every prospect as though this "could be the one," I believe eventually they will find another person who is doing the same thing, and will find love that way.

I firmly believe in love at first sight, but I also believe that it can fade and die, if it isn't nurtured, and that almost any couple can make it work if both partners are willing to compromise and try hard to please one another.

Couples who have good marriages have usually worked very hard for what they have.

That old saying is very true, sometimes when you go looking you might rush into things too fast and afterwards end up realizing it was a bad idea. But if you wait and meet someone you'll slowly discover and learn to appreciate their inner traits, and thats where passion comes from and with lots of passion you have love, at last.

You don't look for love. It just happens, and it happens when you least expect it to. Its just like this saying: A friend in need is no friend at all.
If you are in need of love then you won't be good to be loved. You are searching for love so you are missing something inside you.
You must love yourself first.
How old are you? If you are still young, don't worry about it. It will happen. And when it does, you will know.

I think it is very true and I tell ppl about it all the time. It worked for me! Not too long after I stopped trying so hard, my hubby came into my life and 10 years later we are still together.

I think it is true. Because when you are looking for it you act a little different. You are on the prowl and everyone can tell. But if you are not, then usually you are completely yourself and people notice that and may wanna get to know you a little better. I know, it happened to me....

I never had a serious relationship before, the mens I dated were lame and idiots. I had been getting my car fixed for awhile and one day when I was single, I actually saw a guy there (because I always dealt with the secretary) He was charming and handsome, I kept on bringing my car back, and he worked on it ocassionaly, he had people do work on it, but he wanted to do it himself he is the owner, so he didn't have to do it.. The look in his eyes made me knew he was the one for me, and we have been married for 4 yrs. I wasn't looking for it, and out of the blue this man came out of nowhere, he had been there before I brought my car there about a yr. I wasn't ready for him and love knew that, so when I was ready love showed him to me.

That is very true. Once your attention is diverted elsewhere, you'll run into what you were looking for; otherwise, it stays out of reach.

Love does usually find you. One thing to remember above all else though :

ALWAYS BE YOURSELF

Don't pretend to be something or someone you're not, it could kill the love you're trying to build on.
