I mean like...I just met this dude this school year, we've been sticking close to each other like peanutbutter && jelly and like its only been about 3 weeks to a month, because we didn't start hanging out till the last week of october or something.

I'm pretty sure this guy likes me, I can totally tell. He's extremely sweet. But like I don't know what to get him. I planned on getting him a sweater from Hollister & Co(this is how it looks like: http://www.hollisterco.com/hol/images/store/collection/15969_01_b.jpg ). Its about $39.50 --- I don't care about price, but this dude isn't my bf or anything but like, I still wanna get him something nice, so guys--girls..is this a little too much or should I get something else?

PLEASE do not give me stupid answers that I've seen on sites, that complain about how I don't need to get my guy/crush or whatever, a present, it comes from the heart blah blah blah--I don't care. Thanks for listening. Now answer away :')

I'm pretty sure this guy likes me, I can totally tell. He's extremely sweet. I planned on getting him a fleece from Hollister & Co(this is how it looks like: http://www.hollisterco.com/hol/images/st... ). Its about $39.50, this dude isn't my bf or anything but like, I still wanna get him something nice, so guys--girls..is this a little too much or should I get something else? BTW: I'M ASKING IF ITS A LITTLE TOO MUCH, don't explain other stuff, gift recommendations are welcomed though.

PLEASE do not give me stupid answers that I've seen on sites, that complain about how I don't need to get my guy/crush or whatever, a present, it comes from the heart blah blah blah--I don't care. I'M NOT worrying either, OKAY? Thanks for listening.

I'm not asking for present recommendations really----like what I'm asking is...like, I've only known him for a bit, but like I'm REALLY close with him, its only been 3 weeks or something. Is it a little too much too soon?

FINE! For you people who wanna known what he likes and stuff like that
-NO! The sweater I'm getting him is NOT a gay stupid ugly knitty Kosby sweater thing that that weird dude wears. Seriously, UGH. Check out the link of the pic of what I plan on getting him
-Okay...I don't think we're old enough to go to concerts! NO! We are not under 12.
-Hes the type of guy who is extremely sweet, funny-ISH, nice, and ect.
-Hes the almost-prepish dude(like me! except for I'm extremely girlie) but still skater-ishishish/punk
-He likes things like what usually guys like, videogames, music, violence, ect.
-NO..I do not need it to be so creative, if he really likes me for who I am, it shouldn't really be that stupid. It comes from the heart, its good enough that I pick it out

If you've got the money, if you think he'll like it, and if you guys are friends, go ahead and give it to him... I give my friends presents during the holidays- no big deal, right?

If you're concerned about it being too much, you could always buy him a CD or make him a mix CD or something if you know what type of music he likes. That's a bit more casual than clothing, I guess (although mix CDs can be pretty personal)...

Oh, and after reading some of the above suggestions- planning an activity is always good. It doesn't HAVE to be a date unless you want it to, just a celebration type thing. Concerts are cool, but if you can't do that, just go to the movies or something.

What are you worried about? The only risk you run is wasting your money which you have already made apparent that you don't care about. But a sweater from hollister sounds so unoriginal. What bands does he like? You might could get him a tshirt of his favorite band. Or if he's more into sports get him his favorite team's jersey, etc. Be creative and show him you're actually interested in him by getting him something he would really want instead of something his grandmother or aunt would get him.

Holy smokes! I didn't read all that.... too much info. Get him tickets to something cool, that you both will like and go on a date. Like movie tickets or something. He's just a crush, not your boyfriend. You need to break the ice first. Get him some nice warm mitties and socks and say to keep you warm when I'm not here...etc. do not blow a wad of cash on him. It will just turn him off. Have a great day.

I vote no on the sweater - it's so trite & overdone. Try to think of something specific to him or make him something ... or plan an activity together like ice skating, snowboarding etc.

Anything but a giftcard. When I was in 10th grade my girlfriend bought me a butterfly knife, I liked it. Stay away from the sweaters, girls tend to buy guys Bill Cosby type sweaters, and we hate them!
