You can foresee outcomes and yes sometimes the future may be predictable. Some people see outcomes that could be avoided by means of action, faith or prayer.
It could be cool in nice situations but it could be dreary for inconvenient situations such as illness or death.
Cassandra from the Mythology had the powers to see into the future but no one would belief her. Interestingly, for her, it was not such a cool situation...

it is not possible yet, but maybe someday, my opinion is that no one could see just one future, to see your future you would have to know every single choice you would make for the rest of you life, i dont think anyone would ever be able to accomplish that, you might be able to see many parallel futures, but hey... we can already determine somewhat of a future we might have by making plans for the future, you can shape your future by what you do now, its easy to see where you'll end up ten years down the road
