I had similar experiences when I first started using tampons. In my case it was because I was taking them out before they were thoroughly soaked with menstrual fluid. If the tampon is mostly dry when you take it out it can hurt to pull it out. But when it is moist and wet it will come out easily.

If you feel it there it's likely because it wasn't pushed up high enough. There are nerves near the entrance of your vagina, but not so much further back.

I hope this helps!

It is normal for your tampon to hurt or feel uncomfortable. Here are some reasons why: one that the tampon is inserted incorrectly inside the vagina or if the tampon has been in the body for a while, it may shift therefore allowing you to feel the tampon.

When you place the tampon in your vagina and it is uncomfortable, remove and try again!!

most likely the size of the tampon youre using is one size too big if you can feel it, or you are just applying it wrong. if you dont feel secure using a smaller tampon, you could always put on a pad for extra security.lol

Try and leave the tampon in longer. If you feel it inside it might not be high enough in there.

it may be because you do not have it in the right way, I know if i have it in sideways it hurts like hell, as it may be to big for you, like the absorbancy, or you are dry down there, try a smaller size first and work your way up if you need to- but set on the toilet and be sure to spread apart really well and use plastic applicators

You should not feel it if its in right, if you can feel it them its not pushed in properly. They cannot "go" anywhere. The cervix is far too small to allow them to go through. It should not hurt when you take it out.

make sure you dont take them out in less than 6 hours, so it wont be dry. also, you could have a yeast infection.
