red necks are native of many of the southern states. But, you can find them just about anywhere..even in places where the sunshine doesnt burn the skin enough to make the skin flap on the back of their necks red. It's science.
also including states in which nascar is considered the number one sport.

I think rednecks live in states with a southern drawl to the name. Like Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Louisiana. You get my drift?

The term started in Scotland. In the US it refers to people from the rural areas tht work in the sun all day. therefore the name redneck. probably most associated with the rural south.

They live everywhere!!!! Seeing as I am from a huge family of rednecks, I think there are a lot in IN, TN, KY, and OH.

Georgia and to a lesser extent the surronding states. Texas i ssecond. Georgia is a big desolate farm looking state, which is why the location connected to rednecks.
