You need a software package called a "ripper". It loads the audio files stored on the CD, and converts to digital format then stores in MP3 format. Your MP3 player should have come with the software to load MP3 files and store on the player.

You can get a good ripper for around $20. Do a Google on "cd ripper".

Put your CD into your computer. You can use Windows Media Player or another progam that can "rip" your music onto the comptuer. The "ripped" music should appear on the program's library. Use a USB to plug your mp3 player into the computer. From the library, sync your music from the CD onto your mp3 player.

Rippers are %100 free. There are hundreds.

A good ripper will get the cd information, and poperly fill out the artist name, album name, and song title for each song, not to mention other info.

A ripper I recomend is "JetAudio Basic" you can find on google. Its easy, yet can be configured to rip to a variety of formats. Its 100% free.

Be sure to read over the instructions, it willtake 5 minutes and you will learn more abotu ripping than you could have imagined!

good luck!

*If you use Windows Media Player, J's answer above is what you will want to do.

Hi. Rip it to your HD. Most software used for this allows the selection of file type, so choose mp3. Then just copy it to your player.
