If the Hayflick Limit really is correct, and many people think it has merit, the maximum age before all cell division stops would be around 149 years.

I met a black man in St. Louis in 1974 when I went around the country with a friend of mine. This black guy was 126 and used to be a slave and everyone around knew it. The oldest purported human being lived in China and there are no records, so it is purported, he was supposed to be 247 years old. His actual son's records state that he(the son) live to be 179 years of age and wore out 71 wives. Who knows for sure?

the age of a human depends on the genetic information encoded in the genes of cells of his body.the genes are present in chromosomes of cells.these genetic informations in the cells determine that how many times cell will divide &
then cells stop dividing.so when ddivision of cell
is completely stoped then new cells not replce older cells. it mean breakage of body starts older celld die at same pace but new cells not formed eventually body becomes weaker & weaker...............at last death occures.!
