I am so sorry that you and your friend have to experience this tragic incident :(
Dont know if you believe in Karma but sometimes it is just a persons time to go, even if it is in a tragic way. Karma can still continue from the mistakes of your past life. Hope my beliefs dont conflict with yours.

just be comforted in the fact that they lived a happy life and tht they were never burdened with the pressures of adulthood and that they had the happyest days of their life-childhood. be glad they were never brought into the world of horrors such as debt, drugs, drinking... they were loved to more than they could ever realise and no matter what you know that they never suffered these problems...
in heaven they will remain as children and be giggleing and bouncing around with the other kids that have passed away...they will look dow on you to see what they could have done with their life, so hold your head up high, blow your nose and wipe your tears, show that 13 year old what they missed and live it for them, show them what life is all about.
use this not as a stopping point, but a step intot he future. when faced with a desicion think to your self lifes way too short to have doubts and youve been given the oppertunity to still be here so live the life many others wished...
that 13 year old is probably feeling sad that your sad, so smile for them and show them your happy for them to be in such a happy place...
hope your ok and i hope you get back on track... if your offered the help to see a bereavement councillor take it, you will be surprised... keep an open mind and the world is yours...

My deepest condolences to you & the family & friends of the boy.
This is how I understand death.
These bodies are temporary constructions. Everything that is temporary will cease. No one has a body that will eventually not break down & stop. The older I get, the more people I knew who are now dead. My mate's boy was hit by a car & died when he was 7 years old. My mother died. My first partner died. Someday I will die. Someday everyone I know will die. There is nothing anyone can do to change this process.
It does not matter how much we want or don't want something to happen; if the causes that brought the thing or person into existence are finished, there is nothing to be done, no matter what our feeling is about it.
How long has this been going on? Modern humans have been losing their parents, siblings, children, friends, etc. to death for over 200,000 years. There are 6.55 billion people on the planet right now; at every stage of sickness & health with every disease that exists; how many hundred thousands of them will die today? All of them have friends, all of them have some family. Maybe one of them will be me. Every day there are thousands of young people who die from accidents, battles, snipers, drownings, poisonings, all manner of sudden deaths. No one ever knows - that's a quality of life that we eventually have to face; the raw, indifference of reality to our hopes, loves & wishes.
I have found that regular contemplation of the impermenance of life, the temporary nature of the body & the universality of death through the centuries & across the world, binding the human family together in the commonality of our suffering has helped me to accept & deal with death & dying.
This may be of little comfort to the intensity of your grief today. I hope that something of what I left here will be helpful in some small way.
Peace,
;-)

That's so sad. It is truly tragic. There is no good answer to your question. I know a lot of people are going to tell you that "it was his time" or "god was calling him home," but I believe that's utter nonsense. Why would a compassionate God take a healthy 13-year-old boy away when there are plenty of others who would be more deserving or ready for death? I just think it was a terrible accident that ended in tragedy, and there is no good reason why. He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I hope you and your friend can lean on each other for support during this terrible time, but there is probably nothing anyone can do to make the pain stop, I'm afraid. Bless you for being such a good friend.

I'm sorry to hear that. Death is a very tough recovering process. My condolences. I'm only 23, and I feel like I haven't lived a full life yet, so I can understand how you feel. Children are innocent, according to Christ. Simply put Jesus said, don't worry about the children, for they belong to me. God has a plan for everyone. The child had served God's purpose. The reason Christians believe this is because we have seen it in action. One event creates a myriad of other events. Fate, some say, destiny. Everyone has to die. Some earlier than others. The bible says, the punishment for sin is death. We are all born sinners, or unperfect. Therefore we all must die. Once we do, we are judged according to our lives. See, since the children are covered by Jesus, and innocent, they go right on in. I beleive God takes the chosen early to serve by his side. Did you ever notice that most angel depictions are of children? According to the bible, your real life begins after death. Your eternal life. Where you get to be in Heaven with Jesus. As for the bad people, it is possible for them to live longer than those who are just. But when it comes time for judgement, they have incurred a wrath from God. But he says that even those who lived the worst lives can be saved by the blood of the Lamb. Basically, just by asking Jesus into your heart, and admitting you are a sinner. To me, that says alot about the kind of being God is. God knows we will be mad at him at times, but he can take it, trust me on that one. I remember when my grandmother past away. She was like my mom, basically. I was resentful to God for a long time. I started realizing how crappy the world was and stuff. God touched my heart then. I felt as though he was telling me that she was in a better place. I'm sure the child is too. May God Bless you, and your friends family.

In a perfect international we'd all stay to a ripe previous age. i'm unsure what 'god' has to do with it because of the fact i do no longer possibly have self belief in god. in spite of your ideals that's a poor loss for everyone to die earlier they have even lived and that i do no longer think of everyone can answer why it happens. the only difficulty that any one can do is help to evade issues like this going on. marketing campaign for greater proper street protection, harsher consequences for drivers who flout the regulation etc. It won't carry them back yet while your movements evade yet another individual suffering a loss like this it relatively is well worth each and every ounce of discomfort you will desire to be feeling suitable now.

I agree, theres so many people out there who dont deserve to live and so many who diy, who deserve a great life.I dont believe in the god we have made up ,but I do believe we will probably see the people we leave or, leave us, again somewhere else.does that sound silly? I dont think so, what sounds more biz are is what we are doing here in the first place !! Try to be strong for your friend.

everyone has a destiny and it must have been him time to go.
maybe god really needed him in heaven more then your mate needs him here on earth
besides its a much nicer place then earth in the the bible god says we should rejoice when someone dies because its one of the greatest things ever - we get to go be with him
staying here on earth we just suffer and endure strife but in heaven there is none of that
tell your friend that and maybe that will help console her a bit

I'm truly sorry for your loss...........Ive lost many people over the years ..... maybe you just found god.............if you never really believed in god then there is just evil........if there are demons and devil's doing evil in the world then there is a god.......i don't think god would have time to go around killing children........or to save them all for that matter.....maybe your friend was needed for to tip the tides in gods war of good and evil... we shall never know....but think on this you a non-god person was touched by god! for when your friend died maybe he died for a grander thing in the larger picture of life then the small one saw him live....for now you know there is a god cause he has reached you...what will you do now is the question... will you to die...will you greave your whole life for your friend as many do...or will you go on...maybe even pray..maybe even seek gods will? even if only in your head? i think god works in ways we will never know but will always question or maybe hes not just brought one sheep home but 2 good-luck
