Hi, I'm italian and I'm watching the second series of dr. house...personally, I love him, in Italy this telefilm's becoming a cult, but I would like to know how (and if) do American people appreciate this kind of tv...ahm, sorry, also if you know the sequel of third series...the fourth? ;-) Many thanks for your answers! ciao!

Hugh Laurie is awesome...I love the show and I know alot of people here who also love the show...and the current season is the third season...it is still being shown on tv so it isnt on DVD or anything yet. But he is a great actor...and if you saw SNL you would know how much of an accent he has but it doesnt show on House

Because Dr. House is American. That's just how the creators wanted the character of Dr. House. In fact, when Hugh Laurie went in to audition for the part of the sarcastic doctor, the producer made a comment about his American accent saying something along the lines of "This is what I want! An American actor!". Yes, Hugh Laurie is a native Brit, but he does an amazing American accent.

House M.D. is my favorite show right now, right now there are only 2 seasons out on DVD, the third season (I am pretty sure) is playing on Fox tv now and should be released next year, I love Hugh Laurie, he is the best, and I think America likes him too!!!

I just saw him interviewed on the late show with Jay Leno and on CBS by Craig Ferguson. He was very different on both shows. With Leno, he acted like a prude who never had a day of fun in his life. When interviewed by the Scottish Ferguson, he let loose, and was quite funny. I found this quite interesting.

I'm in Australia and love House! He's so cool. We've just finished Season Two here on TV, so we've got re-runs which are awesome too. Big fan - love House!!! :)

I think hes hilarious and I like his approach to medicine- he takes it seriously but hes so honest you know when he really cares about something. you can tell he loves being a doctor
