i`ve cleaned it off with soapy water but there is a pale stain left! is there anyway to remove it, that wont damage the leather?

Have you tried rubbing a slice of fresh lime over the area & leave it for 30 minutes & wipe with a damp cloth & then dry. That should help a little. If not, call your local Tandy leather shop & ask them if they carry a leather stain remover. It will cost about $20 & it stinks like chemicals, so be sure to open a window & have the fan on. As you have received practical answers, I would ask WHY your cat did this? Have you thought about this? In my experience living with cats, they only do this type of behaviour when they are extremely stressed & feeling insecure. Think about THEIR environment & what you are doing that is causing your cat's distress. In my case, it happened when I was moving out of a rented house & there was a lot of upheaval going on. The cat is desperate for your reassurance & needs to feel safe, so punishing is the worst thing you can do. Rememeber the cat is trying to tell you something & is not trying to be obstructive.

thats life try some littere that clumps all over it scope away and vacuum then leather restorer or if not to discolored cloth wipe awy dust from liter

First of all get rid of the cat, this will not happen again. Take it to the dry cleaners. Maybe they can get it out.
