Voting is a right that belongs to everybody, and not a privilege like driving for which one must show a certain skill. Even though an election doesn't go your way is no reason to attempt to exclude people. What would you put in your test? Is George Bush a great guy? The test itself would be biased. Stop taking away people's rights.

that is this style of wonderful swing in this style of little while that i does not evaluate it reliable. In a CNN pollfrom Oct 12 to 14, sixty 8% of human beings hostile a defense force strike hostile to Iran and really 29% approved of a defense force strike. This replaced into regardless of the particular shown actuality that seventy seven% believed Iran replaced into attempting to construct nuclear guns and 80 2% believed Iran replaced into imparting weaons to Iraqi insurgents. the percentage opposing a defense force strike stayed contained in the 60's for for the first 9 a million/2 months of the three hundred and sixty 5 days. it is problematic to fathom what would reason a 23% swing in opinion for a defense force strike in only 2 weeks. In a Fox information pollat the great of Sep, 29% approved of taking defense force action now, even as fifty 4% approved of letting Bush's successor take care of Iran.

Does the asker of this question know that there is a federal law -- the 1965 Voting Rights Act, which was recently renewed -- which forbids literacy tests?

All American citizens at least 18 years old are guaranteed the right to vote by law, regardless of their level of incompetence or their location on the road to hell.

That means that the donkey who dropped out of high school and can't even read, who doesn't want a job because he does better selling crack cocaine on the street, and who is on parole after serving time for murder, rape, armed robbery or aggravated assault, has the same right to vote as you do. Sleep well.

They can't even count the votes right, not that it
really matters.
There will never be testing for voting. Never.

The post above me, you can't vote if you are guilty
of a felony crime. He named a few.

That would disenfranchise a lot of people. Why would you want to exclude so many people from voting?
