Is there a way I can get some help with finding the right clothes to wear? Like in Trinny and Suzannah but more low key and not involving being on tv! Is there such a service?

find someone you know who`s sense of style you admire, who has a good eye and always seems to get it right and makes the most of themselves whatever their shape or style and then ask them if they would give you some ideas, or go shopping with you. they would probably be really flattered you asked them, and it would be a lot cheaper. i seem to remember reading that t and s do private visits but it was VERY EXPENSIVE.

sure there are lots of options for you!! lots of high street stores have personal shoppers and image consultants, such as top shop, river island and oasis. If you are hoping to go a bit more expensive, selfridges and harvey nic's also offer this service. However, if it's an all over, hair, make up, clothes and underwear make over, then I suggest you find an image consultant or personal shopper in the golden pages that will actually go out around the high street with you and not just sit you in a room with colour charts. I would suggest going with top shop, because the girls in there are fab and they will be able to give you hair and make up advice if you just ask!!! btw you need to book in advance!!

I think that the best thing for you to do would be able to have the one person you know will tell you the truth answer questions or go to a store with you and try on clothes. I mean, a good way to do it too is to take body shots of yourself. Cut out a few samples and test to see how they would look on your frame. Another thing is to stand in front of a mirror and check it out. As far as finding the right thing to wear reading magazines and searching the net you should be able to find a wide range of sites that assist in certain clothing for certain types of bodies and certain colors for certain skin complexions, eyes, etc. You're never gonna be truly happy having someone else happy. Than it's their fault. If it's you doing it on your own and you're deciding things you like that look good on you they work. You're happy and it makes it better. I hope that helped.

some branches of M&S and john lewis's have people that do that for you no matter how small your budjet.other large stores do it too.
