Wow.. watching it right now
I love that it's animated... really lets the humor through with the mockery of Hitler's rise and just how silly & ludicrous it all is/was/always will be.
Disturbing image #1: the young Hans & his classmates screaming "Heil Hitler" and praising their Fuehrer
Excellent image: the ending scene where a grown Hans is seen with chains around his neck, blinded completely by the ideals of the Nazi regime while the narator (sarcastically of course) goes off about how great it is that Hans has finally grown up out of heartfelt laughter, fun and ideals - replaced by the great life of "heiling and marching, marching and heiling".
