I think I saw my gran's ghost or spirit in a house we moved into just after she died. My mum later mentioned feeling her presence as well. So why not? Gran would have loved the house, low, wide and no stairs to climb.

I have had many experiences with 'ghosts', far too many to share here - I see them all the time and it's just a part of life for me. However, one memorable experience, one of the first that I remember vividly, is from being on a residential holiday in Scotland. I was walking back to my accomodation with a friend when we both saw a woman in victorian teachers clothing walk past us, through a bench, through a buush and into the wall of a building. Both of us saw her, which is possibly why I feel this is a more valid story as it can be corroborated. The following year, when we went back there, the new warden told us some of the history of the camp, including the story of a teacher and her lover who had been burned alive in the building in the victorian era. Its quite sad to think that her essence is trapped and has been for nearly 100 years. If I ever go back there I think I will ask her if she want's to be released from her vigil of walking her final path to meet her lover, she must be tired by now.

I wasn't scared, its everyday life :O)

Heard but never seen. Think I've seen a ghost cat if that counts?

There are some fantastic ghost videos on UTube. Type in "ghost" to the search and once you get passed all the spoof videos and faked ones there are some brilliant ones!!! Really really good

I have seen many ghosts. When I was younger I remember seeing them but they stopped. In Wangaratta in Victoria Australia I stayed at a motel that used to be a boys school. In the middle of the night I felt this black presence leaning on top of me - I was absolutely petified and I said the lords prayer and it disapeared. There has actually been sightings of this entity all over the world. Then in Armidale NSW Australia I purhased this house which was a deceased estate. My 2 year old son was asleep in the old lady's room we knew it was hers with the floral wall paper, anyway he came flying into my bedroom telling me there was a grandma in the room. all he would say was grandma and climbed into my bed. then a few months later i was lying on my bed pregnant with my daughter when i saw a very old lady in blue trousers and a pibk jumper. All i could think about was how much she looked like her son who sold me the property. My dad saw her two years prior calling a cat in the back yard. So I gather she had some ties to the house.

I was not scared of this old lady but I did go into my sons room and tell her not to scare little boys. My son never said anything again.

Four friends and I were travelling late at night through the West Witterings. As we came around a bend in the road there was three foggy shapes in the middle of the road. The shapes were long and vertical. I instantly felt frightened and so did the other passengers and driver who put his foot down to get past the shapes. I've driven through fog before but I've never seen fog that looked like people. That happened many years ago and we still talk about it now.

No. There is no such thing, and nobody has ever seen one. Some people are convinced they exist but it is all in the mind. It is as daft as alien abduction, or UFOs from outer space.
What are you people on. Your ghost stories are ridiculous. The ghost concept was invented by man. As I said it is all in the mind.
You must all be very naive to believe you actually saw a ghost. It is a ridiculous idea and people who tell these stories look ridiculous. I just hope you don't pass this stupid notion on to your children and make them sound as silly as you are. Get real.

Many ghosts. Many different places. I stopped being scared a long time ago, they only surprise me now. Too many ghosts to describe. They're all different.

Not personally, but I grew up in Warrenpoint, N.Ireland and after the bomb that killed 18 paras, there were lots of people reporting they had been stopped by an army checkpoint near the bombsite (it's on a main road) and asked to open the boot of their car. When they got out of the car, the army guys had vanaished. There were loads of these stories going round at the time - too many just to be an urban myth.

Yes tonight on the stairs around 6pm no joke! Then the light bulb in my sons bedroom exploded 5 mins later.
This is normal run of the mill here at our house.
We have got a paranormal team coming at the weekend to investigate what is going on. I guess the spooks are getting kinda excited. But this has been going on here for the past 11 months since we moved into this place.

A few times-mainly as a child. The first time I remember just seeing a hand coming out of the wall and I was so terrified I ran out screaming! The next time was at my mum's work-my brother and I both saw it,but weren't scared at all. Since then I've been on some paranormal investigations, and seen and heard a few things-got a little fright at Tutbury Castle in the dungeon-but steeled myself by reminding myself I was there for that experience anyway,so tried to make contact-and then we all heard moaning!
