GRANITEVILLE ? Venus M. Florek, 35, of Cogswell Street, died Thursday, June 1, 2006, at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.

Born on Sept. 18, 1970, in Holyoke, Mass., she was the daughter of Chester and Mary Lou (Deuso) Florek. She graduated from Spaulding High School in Barre in 1988 and was currently enrolled in the associate degree program in psychology at the Community College of Vermont in Montpelier.

She was employed by Washington County Mental Health as a behavioral interventionist for adolescent girls.

She was a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Graniteville.

Besides her parents she is survived by her companion, Brandon Campo; two daughters, Samantha Lee Ralph and Sara Marie Dickinson; a son, Ron Chester Dickinson; two sisters, Lori Florek and Mercury Florek Predix; and more distant relatives.

Friends may call at the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre, on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m.

Contributions in her memory may be made to an educational fund for her children c/o their father, Ronald Dickinson, PO Box, Graniteville, VT 05654.
