I have probably 6 pr. of gloves on this tiny piece of turf. IF I put them on, they come off within 5 minutes...my nails are a mess in the summer!
Just today (Nov 15) walking out to my car to go to work, I pulled up a weed and tossed it...there was mud under my fingernails, and that's how I showed up for my first appointment. I only see the weeds and plants needing a little help, not the repucussions to my fingernails.

I usually wear my gloves, but sometimes, only a bare hand can do the job.

Always wear gloves. There are spiders in the garden and other funky bugs that I dont want to touch :)

I don't garden right now, but when I used to, I did wear gloves. I didn't like my fingernails looking dirty, and I didn't want to break a nail.
