We are supplying much more Audi than Bmw at the moment. Though the 3 Series is a great car to drive BMW are having a bad time at the moment with reliability. They are have the same problems mercedes had 6/7 years ago.
Crap build quality! Seriously I had an X5 from new for 6 months and a 650i for 7 months and they were the worst cars I ever had. Every single weekend at the dealership. We sell BMW and people just think cos its German its reliable, its not!
The new C Class is due soon it will be well worth waiting if their recent releases are any indication. The new S Class is the smoothest ride i have ever driven and the CLS is brilliant.
I never used to like like mercs but they are the new it car at the mo.
Check out my website www.introcars.co.uk to see how much you can save. All our cars are dealer supplied but we negotiate big savings for you.

Well, you haven't given much information on your situation, so it is hard to say. Based on the limited information provided, I would go with the BMW, for two main reasons. First, BMW offers full maintenance on their new cars, which could save you quite a bit of money over the first few years as opposed to the Audi. Second, the BMW will hold it's value better, and be worth more when you decide to sell it, see article linked below. Of course, personal taste has quite a lot to do with it as well, so you would certainly want to test drive both cars before you made your decision.

To Mark U` comments about reliability: both brands, Audi and BMW are notorious for their hassles they can provide their owners. The amount of pleasure we experience from both these brands are given back in ten fold when the vehicle goes well.
To the prospective owner, both these cars are so different, it is up to you to decide which one you want AFTER YOU`VE test driven it. Go with your gut feeling.
Owned two Audi`s and 6 late model BMW`s. Vowed to never buy either of the brands again as the vehicles are too advanced for the technicians at the the dealers` service stations.

Audi A4. BMW are having the same problems as Mercedes, they aren't very reliable any more. not to mention that people won't hate you in an Audi, which they will in a BMW.

I have a BMW 325i and I have to say I love it! Its a great car to drive. Heres the thing. You HAVE to spend the extra money on an extended warranty. If you dont the cost of fixing it will eat a hole in your wallet. Although these cars are luxury and very nice they have stupid little things that break on them. Ive been in the shop for drip rails like 6 times. The back lights electrical system goes out and needs to be replaced more than other cars etc. The bonus to a BMW is that it retains its value. You can have it for 5-6+ years and it will still be worth at least half of what you pay for it. Another thing I love is that I dont have to get the oil changed for 15,000 miles! Thats not a typo! If you really dont have the money for upkeep, get a different car.

Audi A4s are cool. But if you get the BMW you'll never have to use the idincators 'cos few BMW drivers use them.
Audi are a better build and I don't rate the low end BMWs at all.

Personally i prefer a Beemer, but it depends if you want to be discreet (when you should have an Audi) or if you want to show off (in which case you should definitely get the BMW)

I would get a 3 series since it is better to drive. Audis are good looking, well built but dull to drive unless you go for the S4/RS4.
You really need to test drive both to see which one you prefer to be honest.
