how did you tell your husband that you were pregnant? were you nervous?

Me first time- "we are going to be parents" Him- "WE NEED TO GO BUY A CRIB, CAR SEAT, DIAPERS!! WHAT ELSE DO KIDS NEED" then we "celebrated" haha
Second time around.. Me- "guess whos going to be a daddy again" Him- "do you think its a boy" then he started going on n on about things he wanted to teach his son if we had a boy.. lol
I was a little nervous because we got married as teenagers and everything.. & like now I'm 20 with 2 kids under 3.. I wasn't sure how he would react the first time.. but after seeing him with our daughter 2nd time around i wasn't scared at all..

He was the one who wanted to have children,.more so than I did, so naturally, I wasn't nervous and just told him. Yeah, wasn't nervous until I heard his flat reply: "I'm not going to believe it until you go to the doctor." Not the reaction I was expecting, to say the least. I think he was still in a bit of denial right up until the day the baby was born!

I just came right out and said it, but if I could do it again I would plan it out like buying him a card that said happy turkey day daddy! or congrats your gonna be a daddy or something like that! I mean your already married so whats the worst that can happen. go out to dinner were they serve alcohol and say man I would love a nice big drink but I now have to wait 9 months if not more for that.
that should give it away.

no I was not nervous because he went with me to the doctor and he found out at the same time as I did. he was excited as I was
