how do you scan pictures on your computer?

Place the paper, face down and push the button that says "scan to" or something like that. Mine is a HP and there is software on the Desktop which allows you to manage the scanning process. If you think about it, scanning is simply photo-copying but putting the result on your computer instead of on paper.

then scan your photo/image
the scanner should save it to a folder on your computer ( you guys designated this when you installed your software for your scanner)

then resize, it or whatever you want to do with it.
upload it ot your website or a free image hosting site like imageshack.us and they provide you with the code so you can use it on other sites.

If your scanner is installed properly the icon might be under My Computer.
