Reggie Bush is nothing he was hyped up to be in the NFL this season, and compared to the other great backs that came out of college before him, he is absolute garbage. A running back with that much hype coming out of college should have had an immediate impact. You can't say he just needs time. I understand quarterbacks may need some to learn, and adjust, but when your labeled the best running back to ever come out of the college ranks, you don't need a couple of seasons to learn how to run with a football.

Too much hype. That's the way it is for MOST that are projected to go #1 in the draft.

who says you cant run east to west in the NFL, Barry Sanders did it each and every of the time, Brian Westbrook performs a finess interest too. Do i think Reggie Bush would be as stable in college as in the NFL, possibly. yet you never comprehend, he would desire to choose time to comply with the interest. No i'm no longer a Reggie Bush fan and that i think USC the college are packed with a team of tactics.

first off, your question has flaws in that "best out of college" does not have any connection to performance in the NFL. Ryan Leaf anyone? (2nd best actually) there's been plenty of busts

second, there's no rule stating that it can't take time for a good college player to get adjusted to the NFL

it also doesn't help the guys only 200lbs @ 5'11. He's known for speed an agility, but he could stand to gain 10 or 20 lbs (look at LT and Alexander, they're fast and strong).

He was over-hyped and I said that after game one. I saw him play against the Browns and didn't see anything special. He is an average running back. As to what he could do in College all I can say is big deal. Now he is playing against Pro Level Defenses and now he has been exposed.

Yes too much sports coverage in todays HD world. Unless Bush wins the superbowl this year

For now I would put him in the top10.

Who the heck called him the best back ever out of college? That's not a realistic judgment, lots of guys were better than him.

they ranked him as the best back out of college, which his was.

and his total rushing yards suck cause he shares carries with mcallister, plus his a multi purpose back like the old marshall faulk. run catch and block. he wont put up big rushing numbers but his total yards from scrimmage will be high, just like tiki barber, brian westbrook, and cory dillion(pre injury)

give him time and he will be one of best backs in the league

I'll name you one back who had a better college career than him ''Barry sanders'' and there was a whole lot more. the media nowadays just overthrows everything and he's not doing all that bad for a rookie. he'll get better...
