If you're talking about treasuries, here are figures from the us treasury site.

Numbers in billions:
Japan 644.2
China 339.0
United Kingdom 201.4
Oil Exporters 104.8
Carib Bnkng Ctrs 68.2

The fence has nothing to do with this....but the bad side is we'll spend money that does little to nothing to solve the problem. The wall is not fully funded and is only supposed to go about 700 miles (of a 2000 mile border).

Here's a link I like to use-includes charts and and how our debt to other nations has increased...We finance our debt by borrowing, many times from foreign countries.

The fence-I agree-for one it's not long enough. I read after the first fence was built, that Mexicans who used to cross freely but were temporary-then starting bringing families and staying permanently. Obviously, there are those who compare it to the Berlin Wall about which President Ronald Reagan(R) famously said "Tear down this wall!"Many accuse the United States of hypocrisy for enjoying the benefits of cheap Mexican labour but not being prepared to offer Mexican people a chance to cross the border legally. And that's why the administration like's the "guest worker" program and the super highway that will wind through Mexico and Texas all the way North.
