I've had that problem, what i do to make the phone do a bluetooth scan is go to the sounds menu, select one, copy it, your phone should then go to the object exchange screen, where it should (hopefully) say Look for devices, select that and it'll find bluetooth enabled phones near you.

Theres probably a quicker way but i cant be arsed to find it to be honest :)

George Harris is right. Go into settings/connections/bluetooth/menu/visibility/menu/visibility all/ ok

and everyone else should be able to pick your phone up. not the headset though. you have to pair the headset with every device you want to use with it.

I actual have one and it has taken a protracted time to be sure working the bluetooth on the telephone. it often seems much less complicated to place it on "Discoverable" and use yet another telephone to locate the Razr, yet in any different case, you are able to pass to the "hands unfastened" area, turn on Bluetooth and then pass to "locate gadgets" to seek for different Bluetooth enabled gadgets.

They need to be 'visible', for you to find them. It should be on one of their menus, if not they may not support file transfer over bluetooth, which means you wont be able to.
