Figure out what you're interested in that you can make good money from.

Make a list of potential careers and make a list of the important things like salary for that job, benefits, hours, commitment needed to the job etc. Then weigh the pros and cons of each.

You can also take a career assessment test if you are unsure about what you want to do.

Remember whichever career you choose: You can always retrain and choose a different path later in life.

Too many people feel that they must stick with what they're given and it's just not so! Do work experience in various sectors and see which one appeals to you the most. Many employers will see your enthusiasm (if you enjoy what you're doing) and want you on board.

okay, think about this...

you spend 8-10 hours working.. you will spend most of your life at work.. now shouldn't it be a place you enjoy going to and being at..

i think too many people get jobs or pick careers based on money.. that's why high blood pressure, stress, anxiety and depression run rampid through our society..

all the extra money you make working at a job you hate goes to the doctor who treats you for the mental and emotional trauma you deal with working at a job you hate.. vicious cycle i know..

i love theater.. always have.. so i work behind the scenes promoting and presenting shows from around the world.. now we're non profit, so i don't make very much.. but when i get up in the morning, i don't dread coming to work, i look forward to it.. and i don't come home upset and angry, snapping at my son and husband..

happiness is a big factor in life and it effects not only you but everyone around you.. that's why i say..

strive for happiness and not wealth and you're be richer than the most wealth man in the world!!!
