I will confess I have not spent hours reading up on the 'proof' you all have that the US government is responsible for 9/11 but something that never seems to be explained is why the government did not go one step further with this and plant WMD's in Iraq? Seems to me that if this govt. was sophisticated enough to bring down the towers and hijack planes, they would have thought to do this and justify everything they are doing in Iraq.

You hit it right on the head with those kooks who believe that the government was behind 9/11. If they were so smart to do 9/11, which would have involved over 2000 people, plus the 3000 who died that day, to be complicit and part of the entire conspiracy. Taht is everyone in the NY Pd. The FDNY, the Port Authority, the employees of United and American (all 3000 of them), the fire fighters and police at the Pentagon, the CIA and FBI...which would mean it would have taken a considerable amoutn of difficult EFFORT to pull off,
yet our government can't "plant" one nuclear device in a country as big as Iraq.

Well, I see no reason why our government would go the extra mile with 'planting' WMD's in Iraq when they did something very similar in America.
It is called, "In Plane/Plain Site". And, with the help of Hollywood and many unsuspecting America citizens, they created a spin off show to the X-Files.
Sure, you may say I am crazy and good for you to think that, but at least I will not have been that gosh darn frog that was boiled in a pot of hot water because the frog had no idea what was happening to it.
What I mean is, I am willing to see what is supposed to be hidden from my eyes and the truth will set me free.

I agree. Even though I am not a conspiracy theorist. I do however think that there are those in the government that make things happen to manipulate the outcome of events.

Conspiracy theorist all suffer from paranoid schizophrenia. They are completely out of touch with reality. We should not make fun of them because they have disease which they are not even aware of. Unfortunately they tend to gather on line and bolster each others insane ideas. Before the Internet they did not have the contact with one another so they were only isolated Wacko's.
