i want to download music and such for free but not get any viruses. i did limewire and got a worm on my comp. anyone know . please help

BearShare-sometimes it takes a while to download songs & when you do get them downloaded, you'll need to listen to them. Occasionally only a portion of the song(s) will download. The 'green' songs are free to download & burn...the 'yellow' are for subscribers, ($1 for 1st mth. subscription). Once you're a member, each 'yellow' song download is free & the burn costs $.99 each. But, I just download & burn the free ones...The sound quality is pretty good (on most I've gotten). You'll understand 'green & yellow' when you get to the sight. I hope this helps...

Alot of places claim that there are no viruses, but they are everywhere. Just be careful wherever you download. I have had limewire for years and never had one problem. Ares was O.K too.Use good judgement and good luck.
