If you do eat at buffets, where do you go? Chinese? A family steak restaurant like Golden Corral/Ponderosa/Ryan's? Some other type of buffet?

I went to a Golden Corral for the first time the other day and it was disgusting, they didn't have any decent food, the place was dirty and to top it all off it was really expensive.
I am a big fan of Chinese buffets, the people who work in Chinese restaurants cook the same things over and over and tend to work there a long time so they get very good at it and since you can normally see the kitchen you don't have to worry as much about the food being unsafe.

Yes to all of the above.
There is a lot of Chinese-restaurant competition around here which makes them offer a lot of buffets so we love to hit those on the weekend.
When we go to Las Vegas for vacation we never miss eating at buffets. They now have some like Bellagio that are like eating in great restaurants for quality of food (and height of price).
The only place we avoid is Country Kitchen because their stuff is really low end and not well taken care of. We were there once and saw a little kid take a jello cube with her hand, pop it in her mouth, decide she didn't like it, spit it on the floor, and then pick it up and throw it back on the buffet with the rest of the jello. Not very appetizing.

Buffets are breeding grounds for ailment and ailment I went two times to an old united states of america Buffet. it grew to become into the main disgusting place i've got ever considered mothers and dads enable their snot nostril little ones pass help themselves people stand and breathe everywhere in the foodstuff jointly as making their "decison" you're using an identical serving utensils as everybody else! I mean the place grew to become into the guy's hand or hands final who held the serving utensil in the previous you ? did they wash their hands after using the crapper? grew to become into the finger UP THEir nostril, or digging of their yet t hollow? that's a maximum disgusting place I gave it a 2d attempt thinking consistent with threat i grew to become into dashing my judgement yet no my first pass to and my final have been an identical... i'm going to by no ability ever ever do a buffet restaraunt ever returned

I can't stand the steak and all you can eat buffets. Gross me out.
We have found one Chinese buffet where the food is really fresh, and they constantly wipe and clean. Only buffet we go to.

Yes, I go to Chinese buffets. I actually prefer buffets because it doesn't limit you to one type of food. Unless you are at a themed buffet...

We go to the Delta Downs casino in Lousiana quiet often.We both like the seafood gumbo and what appears to a homemade sauage.Most of their food is good.

Ive eaten at chinese buffets but in my experience they've been kinda crappy for the most part- only like 5 or so dishes- big deal.
