One of your neighbors might have an RF (radio frequency) remote that belongs to a similar type of TV (or cable or satellite box). They might change the channel and your system might pick up the signal and change also.
If it is a satellite or cable box, you can call their customer support line for options on changing the setups to read a different frequency. Your owner's manual (providing you still have it) may also give that information.

Its a ghost. I used to live in an old apartment haunted by a kid that always mess with electronics including changing the channels.

do you have a dog with a choke collar, and tags...the sound can change the channel...or for that matter certain sounds in your home could be doing it...reset your TV for the channels you want and see what happens.

Your place is possessed. Whatever spirit is controlling your TV hates shittty shows. You need to listen to the demon and watch stuff that doesn't make you more stoopider and mor dummer. Ooops, sorry! I caught a glimpse of Days of Our Lives out of the corner of my eye there.

Someone is sitting on their remote again, or you have a haunting, or the maid is messing around while you are gone.

Maybe your cat is using "the force" to change the channel.

Chances are that your TV is about to die, the same thing happened to mine when it was about to hit the dirt.
