sorry to hear about your problem. it could be very minor or more serious. for example, eating quickly and swallowing air can cause distention and "gas." which is painful after eating. emotional stress can also cause pain after eating or throughout the day. certain food allergies like lactose intolerance can cause bloating and abd pain after eating as well. on the other hand, gallbladder and pancreatic problems can do the same thing and are more serious. an internist should be able to start the workup with an exam and a few simple tests. you may be referred to a gastroenterologist (a specialist in the GI tract). either way, you should see a doctor. good luck and feel better,

Well if its after you eat something sweet and it starts to hurt or if you are thirsty all the time and maybe you peeing a lot... you might have diabetes. Just go get you blood sugar tested by the doc. and and he will tell you. Don't think just because nobody in you family has it ,that you might not .

Diagnosed 3 weeks and 2 days .

If you are using Splenda, stop using it. It is a chlorine based product and it can cause all sorts of stomach problems. Be careful if you drink and diet drink, eat any low fat ice creams and yogurts and with fruits packed in light syrup. Many of these contain Splenda.
I know, because I dealt with stomach problems for months and that was what was causing it.

I would go to your doctor as soon as possible. It could be as simple as a Stomach Ulcer but, there is the possibility of something more serious.

it can be the gas that is trapped in there but it can't get out because of all your food, eat more slowly so you won't swallow that much air!
