I live in New York, there is alot to see, fast paced, but I don't know if I would want to honeymoon here. I've also been to Barbados. Beautiful place, going around the mountain to the beach was just beautiful. Giant rocks looming out of the water was great to see. Honeymoons should be romantic, not hustle and bustle. Never been to Figi, but saw it on TV, it looked beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Been to Montego bay, Jamacia several times, lovely place for a honeymoon.

Barbados is a whole lot better and if she doesn't like any of those places you may suggest Tobago. It's a quiet island in the Caribbean loved by honeymooners. You can't go wrong with the Caribbean.

Give us a clue as to your budget and time of year?

New York at Christmas is FANTASTIC (I proposed there), rest of the year doesn't interest me.
Can do New York in a long weekend so not sure it's really honeymoon.
If you like american, Hawaii?
Fiji, Mauritius, Seychelles, Maldives, Tobago, St Martin, St Kitts, Turks and Caicos or a mega posh hotel like Elysium in Cyprus.

If it was just a holiday, I'd go for the former. As it's your honeymoon I'd do as she says and go to Fiji.

Mind you, a week in Skegness would do the job just as well, because you're only gonna be seeing the inside of a hotel room anyway, right? ;-)
