In black and white photos it doesn't matter what the color is but how dark the color is. I suggest that you wear a deep red or burgundy and your husband black. (Not all black but it will look perfect in black and white.) Good luck.

I would lean towards white blouses for both of you. A color really isn't going to matter, since the portrait is black & white. White blouses never go out of style, and can look very chic in a portrait.

You need to wear a off white blouse with black trousers and he needs to wear a white crisp dress shirt with grey slacks. Hope I helped!

I think that bright colors make a better contrast against your skin, even though the picture's black and white. They make different shades of gray!! :)

It would depend on the background and wether it would be a full body shoot or just shoulders and face. Do you want to blend in or stand out? Consider those options.
