I'm an atheist and i dont wanna listen to a christian band so are they a christian band? The name Shinedown is a little suspicious that there a christian band but up until now i've been giving them the benefit of the doubt that they arent so i wanna know if they are so i can delete it from my winamp if they are

Just don't call Christians intolerant, lol. They are not A Christian band, however that doesn't mean that they aren't Christians. (I don't know their personal beliefs)

Your question is so ridicilous it has to be fake. If you like their music why would it matter? I believe in God but I listen to heavy metal, some of which talks alot about satan and evil things but that doesnt make me a devil worshiper just because I listen to it. You wont be a Christian just because you listen to a group that is, so dont worry! What an idiot.

If you are soooo worried about listening to christians singing, you should lock yourself in your non-believing home and die. Christ is everywhere and so is the devil. Trying to purposely avoid music made by christians is ridiculous. I love Rob Zombie and I do not care where his soul goes when he leaves this earth. I also love Shinedown. Don't worry, you won't lose your pass to hell by listening to "simple man".

I don't think they are...not to be rude...but if they are and you like them why can't you listen to them...I know you're atheist, but if you like them, you don't have to believe the same way they do...you can still like them and listen them.
