I want to get a lcd televison from bestbuy on black friday (Day after Thanksgiving) and they open at five so what time should i go there to wait in line to try to get one???

Oh plan on spending the night there! Bring a chair, blankets, hot drinks, etc. For an LCD TV, there are people that are willing to wait 10 hours for it if they have nothing better to do! They do like shifts, taking turns waiting in line with other members in family, I think. That is what I would do. I hope someone with experience would let you know.

It really depends on your area. In some places they will start lining up 10-12 hours in advance and will fight each other for the deals. The best thing to do is to call your store and see how many they will have in stock. If it's only going to be a few, it may not even be worth it to go sit in the cold for hours.
I did BF sales once, and it was mahem. They usually will have similar prices later in the day or during the weekend. It's just a matter of finding a helpful associate to ask.

Go online the night before and see if you can purchase it there for the same price they will sell it on Black Friday. They did a news special here in Oklahoma that said a lot of the national retail chains were doing that.

That's so fitting that they call that day "Black Friday." What a nightmare for people who work in retail.

try an hour or two before, just in case there might be people waiting there alredy, and be ready to pick the tv out quickly and buy it fast before others get it
