First of all there is no single "white" culture. Maybe when people perceive of white culture being bland they mean WASP like people or generic americana? I have no idea. But I don't see this monolithic white culture you're referring to. Whites are pretty interesting people. I love the Irish, the Italians, the Russians, the French. What is dull about these people? And what standard is their perceived blandness being measured against? All cultures are interesting.

This is largley due to the perception that Victorian British culture, food, customs was / is stiff and bland (it is, especially the food!) The British Empire once spanned the Globe. English is the World Language / Language of Business. As a result, of the Brtitish Empire's pre-eminence over the last two centuries and the current dominance of America (a former British colony and cultural clone) Europeans (indigenous whites) the world over have been associated with British culture on much of the planet outside Europe. This is slowly changing as Globalization brings other "white" cultures with superior cooking skills to people's attention, ie. Italian, French, Spanish etc.

There is no such thing as "white culture." You have European, American, Australian, etc. cultures. American culture contains bits and pieces of the Eurocentric culture but it is uniquely American and is based in education, jurisprudence and taste. Much of our cultural practices have been modified from the British, where genteel culture was born and bred. Because the European countries have hundred of years of cultural growth and refinement, the Eurocentric culture is considered the class act. American culture today is under attack and being forced by PC to meet the needs of the lowest common denominator in imported cultures. Previously, foreign cultures looked to the class and taste of American culture and took that part to apply to their own. Those that have not hang onto cultures that are based in religious and spritual and ethnic practices considered to be rather third world and not beneficial in getting peoples into the twenty first century via education, education, education. Education IS the basis of all great cultures in the world, no matter how special interests ciphon off.
White culture does not exist nor did it ever. That is a phrase used by racists who want to keep the pot stirred in this country for their own economic survival. I am quite aware of the huge and growing animosity between the races and the cultures of this world and quite aware of the desolation to come if the activists are not silenced. Ah, but we all belong to some special interest group of some kind, don';t we, and we all want a government to "save" us and give us legitimacy. Ain't going to happen. Divided we fall, united we stand. The "we" means ALL American citizens of all colors, creeds, cultures, races, etc.
Failure to live as "we" human beings will guarantee hell for your grandchildren, children and mine. How greedy we are.

If you are talking about in america (and maybe canada) the reason is because White culture is seen as the mainstream culture.
It's bland because it what most people think of as the "normal" culture and everything else is seen as being different.
