Welcome!!!

A few years ago I hosted an exchange student fom Belgrade. She later immigrated too. She likes the big cities so moved to New York where she is happily working in an advertising agency.

My best advice is to determine what type environment you are most comfortable in and look for places that match that environment. You'll be happier that way.

And, please don't let the morons bother you. They are only a small percentage of the population here.

Be careful because everyone wants to attack America. Go to the city that you love, which is New York, though that is one of two American cities that are highest on the terrorists list to attack. Make sure you get a visa and green card and anything else you need, and file for residents status as soon as you get to America, because the immigration office will try to deport you if you don't. As long as you're a law abiding, tax paying resident, you'll be okay. Thanks for enjoying New York. G'day, mate.

for the easiest time of it, you need either:

(1) a marketable skill,
(2) a job offer lined up from a company willing to help with the immiogration process,
or
(3) an American spouse.

Move to Montana.

Colleges are great and highly accredited, the people are friendly, and the outdoor recreation activities are limitless.

good luck.
