Mine are the Holocaust, Native American History and Slavery.

The history of the Crusades in the defense of the Holy Land. History of African colonisation- by the arab muslims and portugese.

I like the history of human kind and life before humans began to write or even paint. Since one guy (who?) said of written history, ""History is a butcher's bench.", history before this was cleaner, without war. I suppose a lover of written history would not call this "History" but anthropology or archeology. From its' period we all evolved. We can learn a lot from it.
